Promoters

Adhesiveness is defined as the ability of a binder to remain fixed to an aggregate. Adhesiveness activators reinforce the aggregate-bitumen union, preventing the displacement of the binder, even in the presence of water or traffic action, increasing the durability and resistance of the pavement.

QDP Química de los Pavimentos offers the market a range of promoters based mainly on organic polymers, which improve both active and passive adhesiveness.

Promoters

ACTIBIT 1 is an adhesive activator for asphalt bitumen, rubber bitumen and modified bitumen, for hot and semi-hot mixes.

ACTIBIT 2 is used, at very low concentrations, to improve the adhesiveness of asphalt bitumen to aggregates in hot mixes. This product increases the adhesiveness of asphalt binders against aggregates and their resistance to displacement in the presence of water, significantly increasing the retained resistance of the mixtures.

ACTIBIT 3 is an additive for asphalt bitumen that has the dual function of promoting adhesion and reducing temperature to achieve semi-hot mixes (conventional and modified).

AQP-2016 is a product that improves the adherent properties of bitumen (function of activator), the emulsifiability of bitumen with low acidity index (function of emulsifier) and accelerates cohesion at early ages of asphalt slurries made with bituminous emulsions whose Bitumen has been added to this product (cohesion stimulant function).

It presents good resistance to heat without losing its properties, therefore, doped bitumens do not lose their improved characteristics, even if they are stored for a long time.
